What Stick Does Tomas Hertl Use?
Former Shark turned Golden Knight, NHL All-Star Tomas Hertl is the feature of this week’s spec check. Tomas left the sharks after 11 seasons with 484 points (218 goals, 266 assists) in 712 regular season games.
Drafted by the Sharks in the first round, Hertl burst onto the scene with a bang, netting 6 goals in his first 3 NHL games, including a memorable 4-goal performance against the Rangers. And he didn't stop there, making his mark in the playoffs with a goal and an assist in his playoff debut against the Kings.
Hertl loves his older model hybrid kick sticks. Up until 2020 he could be seen with the RBZ Speedburner before switching to this Jetspeed FT2 in 2021. This FT2 features a red painted blade which is a unique feature that Tomas carries over to his new sticks as he now uses an FT6 pro with a red blade and was even seen with an FT7 pro at the All-Star game, also with a red blade. Tomas keeps it simple with a P92 curve but shows off some strength using a 100 flex stick.
