Return Eligibility - 7-day exception on USED gear
HockeyStickMan recognizes the difficulty in shopping expensive items like goalie gear online without being able to check it out before it leaves the store. These items can be significantly custom, and can fit drastically differently from one item to the next, especially when it comes to Pro Stock gear. With this in mind, HockeyStickMan makes a notable exception for online purchases (where the item is shipped) of USED goalie pads, gloves & blockers (or full sets).
With the purchase of any of the aforementioned items, you may return an item you bought as USED if a return is initiated within 7 days.
The idea with this is that this gives goalies a chance to buy a used piece of goalie gear and try it on to get a feel for the item. We understand its extremely tough to spend that kind of money and take significant financial risk before you get a chance to know if the fit and feel will work.
Please note:
- This applies to USED items only. We would not be able to accept NEW gear back as a return that now features puck marks (assuming you'd make a couple stops of course).
- HockeyStickMan reserves the right to refuse the return. If you've significantly damaged the item and submitted a return within the return window, the item will be refused
- In keeping with the previous point, this exceptional policy is not designed to be taken advantage of. If you've repeatedly purchased and returned such items, HockeyStickMan can and will refuse return
- The customer is responsible for a $20 return shipping cost upon submitting their return request. The original shipping cost will also not be refunded.
- NEW gear is eligible for return only if it remains unused & unaltered, no exceptions
- This policy does not apply to in-store purchases or pickups. In these cases, you have the ability to try the item on and get an idea for the fit. This exception is a courtesy to the goalies not near our physical locations, but want to shop our impressive Pro Stock goalie offerings

Fulfillment & Delivery Time
HockeyStickMan takes a lot of pride in our ability to get what you need in your hands ASAP!
We aim to have your order fulfilled by next business day, if not same-day. Once your order has been fulfilled, it will arrive within the advertised business-day timeline for the shipping level you select.
HockeyStickMan fulfills orders 7 days a week. Once fulfilled, you will receive a notification with your tracking info to the email used to place the order. Please bear in mind, carriers generally don't pick up shipments over the weekend. In the event they do, tracking info often isn't updated. Therefore, an order placed Friday commonly won't see an update on the tracking info until Monday.
Please note:
- We ship with FedEx or UPS in most cases. To certain remote areas, Canada Post or USPS must be used to reach your area. In these cases, shipping times are generally longer than advertised
- The advertised shipping time for your selected service would be the typical timeline in business days once the courier has picked it up. You will receive a notification once we package your item, and another once it has been scanned in by the courier.
- The flat rate we charge is generally quite a bit less than the actual cost to ship, and HockeyStickMan absorbs that additional cost
