What Stick Does Macklin Celebrini Use?
After being selected #1 overall in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft by the San Jose Sharks, Macklin Celebrini is in the midst of an outstanding rookie season, notching 31 points in 34 games so far this season, 2nd amongst scoring for rookies in the League.
Celebrini is not much different than most other 17-year-old hockey players as he used a Bauer Vapor Hyperlite with a P28 (Blade 6) curve and 82 flex. The only aspect of Celebrini's specs that stands out is the 82 flex. We see a lot of players his age opting for the whippier 77 or even 70 flex, but the former Chicago Steel standout now weighs in at 190 lbs, which requires him to use a bit of a stiffer shaft.
He has been using that same stick on Canada duty, despite the wicked custom FT7 Pro graphics CCM rolled out for the World Juniors.
